On Sunday, 24 April 2016, in the evening at 17:45, in Kaišiadorių district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 76.85), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Porsche Cayenne Diesel and a car. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 55-year-old driver of the Porsche, who committed other traffic rule violations. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 120 km/h.
