On Friday, 29 April 2016, in the afternoon at 16:54, in Kaunas, on Smėlio street near No. 5, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Nissan Primera and a Skoda Roomster. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 76-year-old driver of the Nissan (20 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
