On Sunday, 1 May 2016, in the afternoon at around 15:00, in Kauno district municipality, Kilovos village, on Dvaro street near No. 21, a Rover 620 hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 21-year-old driver of the Rover (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was twilight, it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
