On Thursday, 28 April 2016, in the evening at around 21:00, in Kėdainių district municipality, Grinių village, on the Jankūnai–Pernarava–Kampai II regional road (kilometre 13), a Mercedes-Benz C220 rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 22-year-old driver of the Mercedes-Benz, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
