On Thursday, 2 June 2016, in the evening at 17:29, in Šiauliai, on Žemaitės street near No. 83, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Ford Galaxy and a KTM. One person was injured — the 47-year-old driver of the KTM (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 36-year-old driver of the Ford (18 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations, failed to give way when changing direction and failed to choose a safe speed.
