On Tuesday, 7 June 2016, in the morning at around 5:00, in Ukmergės district municipality, on the Vilnius–Panevėžys (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 96.65), a Ford Focus registered in Latvia ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 57-year-old driver of the Ford (19 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober.
