On Tuesday, 7 June 2016, in the evening at 22:45, in Ukmergės district municipality, Krikštėnų village, on Ąžuolų street near No. 4, a Seat Ibiza hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 18-year-old driver of the Seat (less than a year of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He was drunk (1.43‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was twilight, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
