On Friday, 10 June 2016, in the evening at around 17:00, in Kauno district municipality, on the Rokai–Girininkai–Purvininkai regional road (kilometre 5.80), a Nissan Primera ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 57-year-old driver of the Nissan (17 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
