On Monday, 6 June 2016, in the evening at around 22:00, in Kėdainių district municipality, on J. Basanavičiaus street near No. 1A, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Mercedes-Benz 500 and a BMW 525 D. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 18-year-old driver of the Mercedes-Benz (1 year of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was twilight, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
