On Sunday, 29 May 2016, at night at around 23:00, in Vilnius, on Upėtakių street, a Volkswagen Golf ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 24-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (1 year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He fled the scene. The driver was sober.
