On Saturday, 25 June 2016, at night at 0:45, in Kretingos district municipality, on the Klaipėda–Liepoja (kelio ruožo su skir. juosta k. pusė) main road (kilometre 23.60), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Renault Laguna and a Yamaha. One person was injured — the 17-year-old driver of the Yamaha (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 25-year-old driver of the Renault (5 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance and failed to choose a safe speed. Both drivers were sober.
