On Saturday, 2 July 2016, in the evening at 17:49, in Klaipėda, on Debreceno street near No. 7, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved an Audi A6 Avant and a BMW 320D. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 43-year-old driver of the Audi (22 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. The 37-year-old driver of the BMW had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
