Unlicensed Opel driver and Nissan crash at Rinktinės and Tuskulėnų streets, Vilnius
On Sunday, 3 July 2016, in the evening at 22:30, in Vilnius, on Rinktinės street, at the junction with Tuskulėnų street, a head-on collision occurred. The collision involved an Opel Corsa and a Nissan Almera. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 16-year-old driver of the Opel (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. He had no driving licence. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
