On Sunday, 10 July 2016, in the morning at 8:39, in Trakų district municipality, on the Bijūnai I–Drabužninkai II–Karaliūnai–Bičiūnai regional road (kilometre 6), a BMW 524 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 17-year-old driver of the BMW, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence. The driver was sober.
