On Saturday, 23 July 2016, in the afternoon at around 11:00, in Vilnius, on Apkasų street near No. 17, a traffic accident occurred. The accident involved a Toyota Prius and a Chrysler Town & Country. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 19-year-old driver of the Toyota (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
