On Saturday, 23 July 2016, in the afternoon at 16:45, in Molėtų district municipality, on the Giedraičiai–Miežoniai–Dubingiai regional road (kilometre 0.60), an Audi A4 Avant rolled over. Four people were injured — the 28-year-old driver of the Audi (hospitalized), a 38-year-old passenger of the Audi (hospitalized), a 38-year-old passenger of the Audi (hospitalized) and a 27-year-old passenger of the Audi (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 28-year-old driver of the Audi, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (3.71‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence.
