On Saturday, 6 August 2016, in the afternoon at 11:15, in Pakruojo district municipality, on the Šiauliai–Pakruojis–Pasvalys national road (kilometre 25), a collision with a bicycle occurred. The collision involved a bicycle and a Volkswagen Tiguan. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by a 52-year-old cyclist, who failed to give way when crossing an intersection.
