On Friday, 12 August 2016, in the morning at around 10:00, in Vilnius, on Žirmūnų street near No. 47, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Golf and a Toyota Corolla Verso. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 70-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (7 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. She fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
