On Sunday, 21 August 2016, in the evening at 22:20, in Jonavos district municipality, Jonalaukio village, on the Kaunas–Zarasai–Daugpilis main road (kilometre 16), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Scania and a Honda. Two people were injured — a 25-year-old passenger of the Honda (treated as an outpatient) and the 26-year-old driver of the Honda (hospitalized).
