Drunk Volvo tractor driver and Belarus tractor crash on the Pakertai–Žostautai–Kalviai road
On Tuesday, 23 August 2016, in the afternoon at 16:50, in Kaišiadorių district municipality, on the Pakertai–Žostautai–Kalviai regional road (kilometre 1.07), a collision occurred. The collision involved a Volvo, a Belarus and a trailer. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 46-year-old driver of the Volvo, who entered the oncoming traffic lane. He was drunk (2.21‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
