On Wednesday, 24 August 2016, in the afternoon at 16:05, in Raseinių district municipality, on the Raseiniai–Laužai–Tarosai regional road (kilometre 7.45), a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved a Toyota RAV4 and an Audi 80. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 58-year-old driver of the Toyota (31 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. Both drivers were sober.
