On Thursday, 25 August 2016, in the morning at around 7:00, in Kaišiadorių district municipality, Rumšiškių town, on L. Lekavičiaus street near No. 11, an Opel hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 31-year-old driver of the Opel (13 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.04‰ blood alcohol) and fled the scene. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
