On Saturday, 27 August 2016, at night at 1:43, in Vilniaus district municipality, on the Parudaminys–Rakonys–Tumosai regional road (kilometre 11), a Nissan Patrol rolled over. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 57-year-old driver of the Nissan (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
