On Sunday, 28 August 2016, in the evening at 18:59, in Vilniaus district municipality, on the Vilnius–Utena main road (kilometre 20.50), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Citroen, a Renault Espace, a Mercedes-Benz A140 and an Opel Insignia. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 21-year-old driver of the Citroen (3 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. All drivers were sober.
