On Wednesday, 31 August 2016, in the evening at 20:59, in Pasvalio district municipality, on the Panevėžys–Skaistgiriai–Pušalotas regional road (kilometre 17.14), a Mitsubishi Lancer hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by a 51-year-old pedestrian, who was walking at night without reflectors (light, hi-vis vest). He was drunk (1.37‰ blood alcohol).
