On Monday, 5 September 2016, in the morning at 7:22, in Vilniaus district municipality, Galgių village, on Mokyklos street near No. 2, a head-on collision occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Golf and a Nissan Primera. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 31-year-old driver of the Volkswagen, who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
