On Thursday, 15 September 2016, in the evening at 18:20, in Klaipėdos district municipality, on the Vėžaičiai–Mikoliškiai–Kartena regional road (kilometre 5), a MTZ Belarus-52 hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 74-year-old driver of the MTZ (44 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. The driver was sober.
