On Sunday, 16 October 2016, in the morning at around 9:00, in Trakų district municipality, on the Trakai–Rykantai regional road (kilometre 6), a collision with barriers occurred. The accident involved an Audi A4 Avant. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 32-year-old driver of the Audi, who failed to choose a safe speed.
