On Monday, 31 October 2016, in the evening at around 20:00, in Vilnius, on Parko street, at the junction with Genių street, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved an Audi A4 Avant and a Volkswagen Golf. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 31-year-old driver of the Audi (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 40 km/h.
