On Tuesday, 8 November 2016, in the morning at around 9:00, in Šilutės district municipality, Stirpeikų village, on the Pėžaičiai–Švėkšna regional road (kilometre 9.38), a Volkswagen Lupo hit a pedestrian away from any crossing.
