On Sunday, 13 November 2016, at night at around 3:00, in Klaipėdos district municipality, on Gintaro street near No. 10, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Transporter and a BMW X3. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 19-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (less than a year of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations, failed to keep a safe distance and failed to choose a safe speed.
