Honda hits pedestrians at a crossing at Respublikos and P. Puzino streets, Panevėžys

On Monday, 14 November 2016, in the evening at 17:06, in Panevėžys, on Respublikos street, at the junction with P. Puzino street, a Honda Civic 5DR hit two pedestrians at a pedestrian crossing. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 53-year-old driver of the Honda (14 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
