On Monday, 14 November 2016, in the evening at 19:05, in Kėdainių district municipality, on the Panevėžys–Aristava–Sitkūnai main road (kilometre 36), an Opel Vivaro registered in Latvia hit an animal. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 41-year-old driver of the Opel (10 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
