On Saturday, 26 November 2016, at night at around 2:00, in Trakų district municipality, Bagdononių village, on Liepų street, a Ford Mondeo ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 39-year-old driver of the Ford, who committed other traffic rule violations and failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was unlit, it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
