On Thursday, 8 December 2016, in the evening at around 19:00, in Pakruojo district municipality, on S. Dariaus ir S. Girėno street, a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved an Audi 80 and a Nissan Terrano. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 57-year-old driver of the Audi (29 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. He was drunk (2.32‰ blood alcohol).
