On Friday, 20 January 2017, at night at around 2:00, in Vilniaus district municipality, Rudaminos village, on Tulpės 3-ioji street, a Volkswagen Multivan hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 22-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident it was dark, it was overcast, the road surface was snow-covered.
