On Friday, 20 January 2017, at night at 0:11, in Pakruojo district municipality, Naujalaukio village, on the Lygumai–Dvariškiai–Beinoraičiai regional road (kilometre 4.20), a Ford Escort ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 17-year-old driver of the Ford, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober.
