On Monday, 23 January 2017, in the afternoon at around 16:00, in Vilnius, on Vilkpėdės street near No. 8, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Volvo FH and a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 20-year-old driver of the Volvo (2 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
