On Saturday, 21 January 2017, in the morning at 10:20, in Šalčininkų district municipality, on the Šalčininkai–Čiužiakaimis–Mažosios Sėlos regional road (kilometre 2.11), a Nissan Qashqai hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 16-year-old driver of the Nissan, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence. The driver was sober.
