On Monday, 30 January 2017, in the evening at 19:30, in Šalčininkų district municipality, Šalčininkėlių village, on Vilniaus street near No. 3, a Volkswagen Polo hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 22-year-old driver of the Volkswagen, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene.
