On Tuesday, 31 January 2017, in the morning at 8:45, in Kaunas, on V. Krėvės pr. near No. 97, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Passat, an Audi A8, an Opel Astra Station Wagon and a Toyota Camry. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 21-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (1 year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.77‰ blood alcohol). According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was dry.
