On Saturday, 18 February 2017, in the evening at 19:26, in Vilkaviškio district municipality, on Kapų street, at the junction with Klevų street, a collision while turning right occurred. The collision involved an Opel Astra and a Ford Galaxy. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 36-year-old driver of the Opel, who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. He was drunk (1.39‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence.
