On Friday, 13 January 2017, at night at around 23:00, in Tauragės district municipality, Ąžuolynės village, on Ąžuolynės street, a Nissan Almera ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 24-year-old driver of the Nissan, who failed to choose a safe speed. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober.
