On Saturday, 11 March 2017, in the evening at 17:52, in Šiauliai, on Žemaitės street near No. 108A, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a BMW 523 and a Volkswagen. The accident was caused by the 24-year-old driver of the BMW (1 year of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations, failed to choose a safe speed and entered the oncoming traffic lane.
