On Saturday, 3 June 2017, in the evening at 18:30, in Rietavo municipality, on Plungės street near No. 4, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Renault Megane Coupe and a Volkswagen Passat. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 18-year-old driver of the Renault, who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence. Both drivers were sober.
