On Monday, 5 June 2017, in the evening at 21:49, in Vilnius, on Bieliūnų street near No. 1, a Nissan X-Trail hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 30-year-old driver of the Nissan (15 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations and failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (1.75‰ blood alcohol) and fled the scene. At the time of the accident it was twilight, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
