On Saturday, 10 June 2017, in the evening at 17:30, in Varėnos district municipality, Dubičių village, on the Kiti keliai local road (kilometre 2), a head-on collision occurred. The collision involved a Peugeot 406 and an Audi A6. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 29-year-old driver of the Peugeot, who failed to choose a safe speed and entered the oncoming traffic lane.
