On Sunday, 18 June 2017, at night at around 3:00, in Kaunas, on Plento street near No. 9, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Honda Jazz and a Volkswagen Golf. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 32-year-old driver of the Honda (10 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He was drunk (1.71‰ blood alcohol). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
