Drunk, unlicensed motorcyclist rolls over in Šimkų village
On Monday, 19 June 2017, in the afternoon at 16:37, in Šakių district municipality, Šimkų village, a quad bike rolled over. The accident was caused by the 25-year-old driver of a quad bike. He was drunk (3.26‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. A 18-year-old passenger of a quad bike was drunk (2.53‰). According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
