On Friday, 23 June 2017, in the evening at 18:26, in Elektrėnų municipality, on Kauno street near No. 53, a Renault Espace hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 38-year-old driver of the Renault. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was raining, the road surface was wet.
